Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with old origins. Based on the old Chinese tile game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the far east with the west in a great game for beginner level gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler vs. the dealer, not like the majority of other poker games that players bet against other gamblers. By betting against the dealer, new players do not have to worry about any other, more skillful people winning their mulla.
A further Pai Gow advantage is the fairly leisurely game pace, beginners will be able to take their time and scheme while not having to make hasty selections.
It’s also much simpler to participate in for an extended time with only a tiny bit of money since, to lose, both of your hands has to be under both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned seven cards faces showing and the house is given seven cards faces hidden.
One 5 card hand and a two card hand have to be made from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand must be higher than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the houses.
