Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient origins. Founded on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the east with the wild west in a wonderful game for starting players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler vs. the casino, not like almost all other poker games that gamblers play against other players. By gambling against the dealer, beginning players do not need to fret about any other, more experienced gamblers winning their mulla.
Another Pai Gow advantage is the generally leisurely game play, rookies will be able to take their time and plan without needing to make hasty choices.
It’s also easier to gamble on for an extended time with only a small bit of cash since, to lose, both of your hands must be lower than both of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and a single joker. The player is dealt seven cards faces showing and the croupier receives 7 cards face down.
A five card hand and one two card hand have to be put together from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be higher than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be higher than the casino’s.
