Pai Gow Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the east with the wild west in an excellent game for starting gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler versus the casino, not like most other poker games that gamblers play with other players. By wagering against the dealer, new players don’t have to be concerned about any other, more skillful players winning their cash.
A further Pai Gow advantage is the relatively slow game pace, rookies are able to take their time and strategize without having to make hasty choices.
It’s also much simpler to participate in for a very long time with just a tiny amount of cash since, to not win, both of your hands has to be under both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and one joker. The gambler is dealt 7 cards faces showing and the house receives 7 cards faces hidden.
One 5 card hand and a two card hand need to be made from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand must be stronger than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the dealer’s.
