Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the eastern with the west in a fantastic game for new players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player against the dealer, unlike most other poker games that players wager against other players. By wagering against the dealer, new players don’t need to fret about any other, more skillful players winning their $$$$.
A further Pai Gow edge is the relatively leisurely game pace, novices should be able to take their time and strategize without having to make hasty decisions.
It’s also simpler to wager on for a long time with just a small bit of cash seeing as, to lose, each of your hands must be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card basic deck and one joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards face up and the dealer is given 7 cards face down.
One five card hand and one 2 card hand have to be made from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be stronger than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the casino’s.
