Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Based on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the west in an excellent game for new players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler versus the croupier, not like the majority of other poker games that gamblers bet against other gamblers. By wagering against the dealer, beginning players don’t need to fret about any other, more knowledgeable individuals taking their money.
Another Pai Gow edge is the relatively leisurely game play, novices can take their time and scheme without having to make quick selections.
It is also much simpler to participate in for a very long time with only a little amount of cash since, to lose, each of your hands has to be lower than each of the houses hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card common deck and a single joker. The player is given 7 cards faces showing and the dealer is given 7 cards faces hidden.
A five card hand and a 2 card hand must be made from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand must be higher than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be higher than the houses.
