Newcomer Schemes for Pai Gow Poker

[ English ]

Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Based on the old Chinese domino game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the eastern with the west in a great game for early level gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player versus the house, unlike almost all other poker games that gamblers wager against other players. By competing against the dealer, beginner players do not have to be concerned about other, more skillful people winning their $$$$.

One more Pai Gow benefit is the fairly leisurely game play, rookies are able to take their time and strategize while not having to make quick choices.

It is also simpler to gamble on for a very long time with only a small bit of money after all, to lose, each of your hands needs to be under each of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned 7 cards faces showing and the casino receives 7 cards faces hidden.

A five card hand and one 2 card hand have to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand must be better than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be higher than the dealer’s.
